So, what exactly is this Oeko-Tex thing?

Oeko-Tex® is an international association that aims to promote product safety and sustainability in the textile industry. Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 is a certification they issue for textiles found not to be harmful to one’s health. The certification criteria must be met by the clothing fabric, in addition to any sewing threads, buttons, studs, and coatings.
